Manuel Rodríguez, also known as MR, is a renowned name in the world of flamenco and classical guitars, known for crafting distinctive instruments suited for the most prominent artists worldwide, not just flamenco players. Each instrument is unique and individual.
The Manuel Rodríguez guitars have a rich history dating back to the early 20th century. The lineage descends from flamenco guitarist Manuel Rodríguez Marequi, dedicated to guitar making, which began as a fully handcrafted workshop in Madrid. Later, Manuel Rodríguez moved to Los Angeles, where he built guitars for American actors and artists. In 1973, the brand returned to Spain with the goal of offering its catalog to the entire world.
