The new Schaller Security S-Lock can be installed manually by placing the strap buttons with their felt washers into the existing holes of your guitar using a 3 mm (1/8") Allen wrench. Make sure the strap buttons are fully seated into the wood. The final step is to screw on the new nut, designed for hand tightening. Use an Allen wrench to tighten if needed and adjust the safety screw to ensure it never moves.
