In 1990, Yamaha launched the Pacifica series in response to the high-end electric guitar market and the Custom Shop spirit of the California scene, led by Rich Lasner (creator of Steve Vai's JEM guitar). Since then, many of the top guitarists of the past two decades have adopted our Pacifica as their main stage weapon. After 21 years of success, we are returning to the scene with new models inspired by current demands and boutique-level features. The new Pacifica 611 HFM, built with a Hard-Tail bridge and featuring a flame maple top, includes Seymour Duncan pickups, Grover locking tuners, TUSQ XL nut, vintage tint lacquer finish on the back of the neck, Teflon saddles, Coil-Tap switch, and a 3-layer pearloid pickguard.
