In 1990, Yamaha launched the Pacifica series in response to the high-end electric guitar market and the Custom Shop spirit of the California scene, led by Rich Lasner (creator of Steve Vai's JEM guitar).
Since then, many of the top guitarists of the past two decades have adopted the Pacifica as their primary stage instrument. After 21 years of success, Yamaha is returning to the lineup with new models inspired by current demands, offering boutique-level features. The Pacifica 311 H is inspired by the 611 HFM, now available in this more affordable version.
