Widely regarded as the most recognizable electric guitar in history, the iconic and revered Frankenstein guitar of Eddie Van Halen is now available at a more affordable price in the form of the EVH Striped Series Frankenstein "Frankie".
Sporting Eddie's famous red finish with black and white stripes and a distressed appearance, the new Frankie features a Strat-style alder body combined with a maple neck reinforced with graphite. An oiled finish on the back of the neck provides hours of comfortable playing, while the 12"-16" compound radius maple fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets is designed for fast, furious playing styles.
Designed for a HSS pickup configuration similar to Eddie's original, Frankie features an EVH Wolfgang humbucking bridge pickup, a fake Strat-style neck pickup, and a five-way switch housed in the middle position.
