The Lerxst Limelight is a signature guitar created in collaboration with iconic rock guitarist Alex Lifeson, inspired by Lifeson's legendary 1980s Strat-style guitar that became synonymous with his sound and style.
The Lerxst Limelight has been crafted through the synergy of Godin luthiers' craftsmanship and modern hardware selected by Alex — resulting in a high-quality, fully modern, and refined instrument for today’s guitarist. It features a contoured swamp ash body, a Hard Rock maple neck with a 12" radius, a ebony fingerboard, and medium stainless steel frets for fast, intuitive playing.
Much like Alex's original modified Strat, this model sports an HSS pickup configuration for greater versatility, with custom-wound pickups by Mojotone according to Alex’s specifications to ensure balanced tone across all positions and a monstrous sound.
