The Prestige fret treatment is a distinctive feature of this series. This technique involves carefully working the fret to ensure it is as rounded as possible, resulting in an ultra-smooth and fast feel on the neck.
About S-Tech
The special S-TECH roasted treatment enhances stability, durability, water resistance, and wood tolerance to temperature changes. The neck is sealed with an oil finish that helps it feel like a well-played guitar neck.
This treatment provides superior attack and a well-balanced tone with rich sustain. To maximize playing comfort, the edges of the fingerboard are rounded.
About Ibanez
Ibanez is a guitar and bass manufacturer based in Japan. Its name originates from the Spanish luthier Salvador Ibáñez, whose excellent guitars were distributed in Japan by Hoshino Gakki. The 1929 recession impacted the company, leading to its closure in 1933. The Japanese market was left underserved, so in 1935, the importer started manufacturing Spanish-style guitars under the name "Ibanez Salvador," which was later shortened to just "Ibanez."
