The Player II Modified Stratocaster is a classic guitar designed for the modern guitarist. Every detail of the neck is crafted for fast, smooth playability—from the modern "C" profile with a silky satin urethane finish on the back to the comfortable one-piece rosewood or maple fingerboard with a 9.5" radius, rounded edges, and 22 medium jumbo frets.
The alder body delivers the classic Fender punch and comes in a variety of exciting new finishes. The Player II noiseless pickups provide the classic Strat tone and sparkle while eliminating unwanted noise. The push/pull switch on the second tone control offers even more tonal flexibility by placing the neck pickup in positions 1 and 2. The 2-point tremolo, short-post locking tuners, TUSQ nut, and modern string guide work together to maintain incredibly stable tuning, while the extended travel of the beveled tremolo block allows players to achieve even more expressive and musical vibrato.
