This is a Sire Strat-style electric guitar with a mahogany body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard. The New Gen version improves overall construction while maintaining a comfortable profile suitable for all types of guitarists.
Its HSS configuration combines a humbucker at the bridge with two single-coils, offering more versatility than the SSS model. The Indonesian mahogany body of the S3 model is inspired by the traditional S-style shape of the S7, approved by Larry Carlton, known for being lightweight and comfortable. It is paired with a hard maple neck in a "C" shape with a rosewood fingerboard WITHOUT BINDINGS.
The new LC HSS pickup set combines a humbucker for a cleaner, warmer tone at the neck position with two S-style single-coils that offer more precise S-style tones. These pickups are versatile enough to cover almost any sound a guitarist desires.
The aesthetic of the Sire New Gen body for this model has been enhanced with a new range of colors and a sturdy port to meet the needs of modern guitarists. It is labeled with "New Gen" on the pickguard for easy identification.
