The PRS Silver Sky is the US version of John Mayer's signature model, an inspired vintage-style electric guitar created in collaboration with Paul Reed Smith to capture the feel, response, and character of the finest single-coil guitars from the early 60s, but with the precise craftsmanship typical of PRS. Its alder body, 25.5” scale length, vintage 7.25” radius, and three PRS 635JM pickups deliver a clear, warm, and highly dynamic sound, with musical treble and a smooth response without excessive harshness. The steel PRS tremolo bridge, vintage-style locking tuners, and bone nut enhance the instrument's stability and professional feel.

PRS Silver Sky
The PRS Silver Sky was born from the collaboration between John Mayer and Paul Reed Smith, with the idea of reinterpreting the vintage-inspired single-coil electric guitar from a modern perspective. Its design draws from classic references of the early 60s but incorporates the tuning stability, craftsmanship, and precision typical of PRS. This family includes both US-made and SE models, always maintaining a clear philosophy: comfort, dynamic response, clean sound with character, and a recognizable aesthetic. It is a guitar designed for musicians seeking a high-quality, versatile, and expressive ST-style instrument, ideal for blues, pop, funk, soul, classic rock, and clear, personality-filled tones.
