Widely regarded as the most recognizable electric guitar in history, Eddie Van Halen's iconic and legendary Frankenstein guitar is now available at a more affordable price in the form of the EVH Striped Series Frankenstein "Frankie".
Featuring Eddie's famous red finish with black and white stripes and a worn appearance, the new Frankie sports a Stratocaster-style alder body combined with a roasted maple neck reinforced with graphite. An oiled finish on the back of the neck provides hours of comfortable playing, while the 12"-16" compound radius maple fingerboard with 22 jumbo frets is designed for fast, aggressive playing styles.
Designed for a HSS pickup configuration similar to Eddie's original, Frankie features an EVH Wolfgang humbucking bridge pickup, a Strat-style neck pickup, and a five-way blade switch in the middle position.

About EVH
The initials EVH immediately evoke thoughts of iconic riffs and solos by guitarist Edward Van Halen. Alongside Peavey, Eddie collaborated on the creation of his signature guitar, the EVH Wolfgang, named after his son. In 2009, he launched his own signature line, which is still endorsed by Fender today.
