About IBANEZ

Ibanez is a manufacturer of guitars and basses based in Japan. Its name honors Spanish luthier Salvador Ibáñez, whose excellent guitars were distributed in Japan by Hoshino Gakki. The 1929 recession affected the company, leading to its closure in 1933. The Japanese market was left without supply, so in 1935, the importer decided to start manufacturing Spanish guitars independently and distributed them under the name "Ibanez Salvador." Later, the brand was renamed simply "Ibanez."

About the Prestige series

There are three core principles behind the Ibanez Prestige line: precision, performance, and comfort. Prestige guitars combine high-tech manufacturing techniques with traditional Japanese craftsmanship to achieve true innovation in design and build quality. The series incorporates ideas and feedback from musicians worldwide as foundational elements of the Prestige production process.
