About Ibanez Signature
The Signature series features various Ibanez models, customized to meet the needs of each artist with more or less extensive modifications. The basic idea behind Signature guitars is that the artist can replace "their" guitar anywhere in the world, allowing them to play the same model as their idol. Many features of Signature guitars have now been incorporated into mass production.
About Ibanez
Ibanez is a guitar and bass manufacturer based in Japan. Its name comes from the Spanish luthier Salvador Ibáñez, whose excellent guitars were distributed in Japan by Hoshino Gakki. The 1929 recession impacted the company, leading to its closure in 1933. The Japanese market was left underserved, so in 1935, the importer decided to start manufacturing Spanish guitars under the name "Ibanez Salvador" and distributed them. Later, the name was shortened to "Ibanez".
