About Ibanez Signature
The Signature series features various Ibanez models that have been customized to meet the specific artist's needs with extensive modifications. The main idea behind Signature guitars is that the artist can replace "their" guitar anywhere in the world, allowing the guitarist to play the same model as their idol. Many features of Signature guitars have now been incorporated into mass production.
About Ibanez
Ibanez is a guitar and bass manufacturer based in Japan. Its name derives from the Spanish luthier Salvador Ibáñez, whose excellent guitars were distributed in Japan by Hoshino Gakki. The recession of 1929 affected the company, which closed in 1933. The Japanese market was left underserved, so in 1935, the importer decided to start manufacturing Spanish guitars on their own under the name "Ibanez Salvador." Later, the name was shortened to "Ibanez."
