About S-Tech
The special S-TECH roasted treatment enhances stability, durability, water resistance, and the wood’s tolerance to temperature changes. The neck is sealed with an oil finish that helps it feel similar to a well-played guitar neck.
The treatment provides superior attack and a well-balanced tone with rich sustain. To maximize comfort, the edges of the fingerboard are rounded.
About Ibanez
Ibanez is a guitar and bass manufacturer based in Japan. Its name originates from Spanish luthier Salvador Ibañez, whose excellent guitars were distributed in Japan by Hoshino Gakki. The 1929 recession affected the company, leading to its closure in 1933. The Japanese market was left underserved, so in 1935, the importer began manufacturing Spanish guitars under the name "Ibanez Salvador" before eventually shortening it to "Ibanez".
