Description

Jackson has always been synonymous with cutting-edge guitar technology, and the company continues to lead the way in manufacturing instruments that meet the demands of today's most discerning guitarists. Combining classic style with modern materials and construction, the Jackson X Series Soloist SL3X DX is another bold step in the world of high-tech guitars.

A stylish contoured alder body and a neck-to-body pure Jackson construction ensure ergonomic comfort during long playing sessions, along with monstrous sustain and smooth playability up to the jumbo 24 frets. Graphite reinforcement rods run through the maple neck, protecting it from environmental changes, while the ultra-fast 12"-16" compound radius laurel fingerboard is built from the outset to facilitate chords and riffs near the nut and quick fretwork.

The SL3X DX is loaded with a select trio of powerfully high-output Jackson humbucking bridge pickups and Jackson dual-rail pickups for complementary harmonics and highly dynamic response. Take advantage of the sonic power of these pickups with a five-position blade switch and unique volume and tone controls.

The Floyd Rose Special double-locking tremolo system is smooth and easy to operate, ensuring your axe returns precisely to its original tuning after dive bombs or whammy bar use.

With a wide variety of finishes, the X Series Soloist SL3X DX features Jackson's traditional styling: black hardware, knurled dome-style control knobs, pearl sharkfin inlays on the fingerboard, zebra-coil pickups, and the iconic pointed Jackson black locking tuner headstock.

About the X Series

The JS series guitars make it easier than ever to achieve the classic Jackson tone, look, and features without breaking the bank. Jackson has upgraded its specifications over the past decade while maintaining its iconic style and innovating with striking aesthetics, high-output ceramic pickups, graphite-reinforced maple necks, and binding on the fingerboards... This line is perfect for beginner guitarists or those on a tight budget.

About Jackson Guitars

Jackson was founded in the late 1970s, during a period when heavy music experienced a flamboyant and virtuosic resurgence in popularity. A small guitar repair shop in Southern California, run by Grover Jackson, responded to the call with a new generation of high-performance custom guitars bearing Jackson's name on the headstock. Since then, Jackson guitars have been universally acclaimed as metal instruments.
