Our Opinion
This guitar is highly recommended for beginners seeking a comfortable, versatile instrument with a modern aesthetic, without being limited to very aggressive sounds. Its two humbuckers provide a full-bodied tone suitable for rock and distorted styles, while the five-way selector switch offers a wider range of tonal options.
Compared to other beginner RG models with 24 frets and flatter fingerboards, this GRX offers a slightly more traditional feel thanks to its 22 frets and 12-inch radius. The tremolo bridge also allows for practicing vibrato and other expressive techniques.
