The Player II Modified Telecaster is a classic guitar designed for the modern player. Everything about the neck is crafted for fast, smooth playing—from the modern "C" profile with a silky satin urethane finish on the back to the comfortable one-piece rosewood or maple fingerboard with a 9.5" radius, rounded edges, and 22 medium jumbo frets.
The alder body delivers the classic Fender punch and comes in a range of exciting new finishes. The Player II noiseless pickups provide the classic Tele twang and bite while eliminating unwanted noise. The push/pull tone control switch offers even more tonal flexibility by switching the pickups’ wiring from parallel to series for thicker tones. The 6-saddle bridge, short-post locking tuners, TUSQ nut, and modern string guide work together to keep tuning incredibly stable, even during aggressive bends or powerful rock solos.
