The Player II Modified Telecaster is a classic guitar designed for the modern player. Every aspect of the neck is crafted for fast, smooth playing, from the modern "C" profile with a silky satin urethane finish on the back, to the comfortable one-piece rosewood or maple fingerboard with a 9.5" radius, rounded edges, and 22 medium jumbo frets.
The alder body delivers the classic Fender punch and is available in a range of exciting new finishes. The Player II Modified humbucker is articulate and offers high output, while the Player II noiseless pickups deliver the classic Tele twang and bite, eliminating unwanted noise. The push/pull tone control adds even more tonal flexibility by switching the pickups’ wiring from parallel to series for thicker tones. The 6-saddle bridge, short post locking tuners, TUSQ nut, and modern string guide work together to maintain incredibly stable tuning, even during the most demanding bends or powerful rock solos.
