With the Earthquaker Devices Aqueduct, the effects pedal manufacturer from Akron, Ohio, introduces a vibrato effect featuring eight different sound modes that deliver particularly versatile and inspiring tones. While the Rate and Depth controls determine the modulation speed and intensity as usual, the first five presets of the mode switch offer different waveforms that fundamentally shape the character of the sound. In the remaining three modes, an Envelope-Control is also available, allowing the user to manipulate various parameters of the effect through touch sensitivity, encouraging experimentation with expression and dynamics. Lastly, the Earthquaker Devices Aqueduct is equipped with a True Bypass relay controlled by Flexi-Switching, which also functions as a momentary switch, activating the effect only when the pedal is pressed.
