The Pitchblack X not only features true bypass to deliver the sound exactly as it was input, but now also includes an integrated ULTRA BUFFER. A buffer boosts the signal over long cable runs to prevent tone loss, keeping it clean and clear even when the pedal is turned off. In the Pitchblack X, you can toggle between true bypass and ULTRA BUFFER modes, depending on your preferences and playing environment. The Pitchblack X provides highly accurate tuning with an accuracy of ±0.1 cents in strobe mode, making it ideal for situations where perfect tuning is essential, whether on stage or in the studio. Besides the standard "Regular" mode, it offers "Strobe" and "Half Strobe" modes to visually indicate pitch changes through the direction and speed of the meter, allowing you to detect even the smallest tuning discrepancies; and it includes a "Mirror" mode, where two LEDs on the left and right cross toward the center as you tune your instrument.
