6L6-type tubes have a medium power output, typically ranging between 20 and 25 watts. This model is used in many professional Fender amplifiers such as the Bassman, Bandmaster, Concert, Dual Showman, Hot Rod series, Pro series, Super Reverb, Tremolux, Twin Reverb, Vibrolux, Super-Sonic, Blues Deluxe, and Blues DeVille. Available in many variants, the sound response of this 6L6-S version is balanced, with a pronounced presence of mid frequencies. They produce a bright sound with a high clean headroom. These tubes are ideal for achieving the characteristic tone of the most popular musical styles in the U.S., from the 1960s to today.
