Available in both "H" (High Impedance) and "L" (Low Impedance) versions. The latter is intended for guitars with active pickups or preamps.

- If you want to use an effect or TU-2/TU-3 before the FV-500, choose the low impedance model (FV-500L).
- If you want to connect a guitar with passive pickups directly to the FV-500, choose the high impedance FV-500H.
- If you want to connect your guitar with active pickups or an active preamp directly to your FV-500, choose the low impedance FV-500L.
