Description

Guild redefined acoustic bass guitars in the mid-1970s with the introduction of the B-50, based on Guild’s classic jumbo shape. The B-140E Natural continues this tradition, delivering an impressively rich tone that can be easily amplified with its Guild/Fishman BT-1 pickup system.

Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid African mahogany back and sides, the B-140E Natural features a bone nut and saddle, and an abalone rosette. This model also has a 1½” nut width on a vintage-shaped Guild neck, an iconic Chesterfield headstock emblem reminiscent of Guilds from the 1960s, an authentic tortoiseshell pickguard, and the new Guild premium acoustic gig bag.

About the Westerly Collection

This series pays tribute to the golden era of the brand, renowned for its exquisite designs, impeccable craftsmanship, and high-quality materials.

About mahogany

Mahogany on a guitar neck provides tonal stability and slightly compresses the attack of the high frequencies, adding warmth and body. It’s a common choice for LP-style models and many acoustic guitars.
