Description

We selected a solid Sitka spruce top and a flamed arched maple back to reflect the tonewoods traditionally used in the construction of double basses for centuries, resulting in a clear and punchy bass tone that impresses with its compact size. The back, sides, and neck are finished in an antique satin amber, adding rich depth and a unique character to the wood's figure.

The deep voice of the Jumbo Junior Bass can be amplified or recorded using its built-in BT system designed by Guild's Fishman. It features a pickup system with volume and tone controls. Other highlights include an ebony fingerboard and bridge, bone nut and saddle, mother-of-pearl rosette, Guild Peak headstock logo, tortoiseshell pickguard, and phosphor bronze strings with nylon core.
