The Martin BC-16E electro-acoustic bass is perfect if you love writing and practicing with an unplugged bass, but also need the option to plug it in for recording or live performances with your band. The BC-16E features a solid Sitka spruce top, East Indian rosewood back and sides, and forward-shifted scalloped bracing to deliver a deep, resonant Martin tone whether plugged in or using the built-in Fishman electronics.
It also includes a fast, comfortable neck so you can keep your rhythm section tight. The BC-16E is strung with authentic Martin acoustic bass strings. Due to material availability, this guitar is finished with either a tortoise pattern or a black pickguard.
