The OBP-3 TK/PP is a three-band preamp with bass, mid, and treble boost and cut, offering a wide dynamic range, low distortion, and the ability to reproduce the full dynamic range of your instrument. The OBP-3 provides multiple wiring options and can be connected with a push/pull pot or a mini-toggle switch for mid-frequency selection. The OBP-3 TK/PP kit includes independent pots for bass, mids, and treble.
The mid pot is push/pull for mid frequency selection. The OBP-3 is Aguilar’s most versatile onboard preamp design, featuring +/-18 dB boost and cut at 40 Hz, +/-16 dB boost and cut at 400 Hz or 800 Hz, and +/-16 dB boost and cut of treble at 6.5 kHz.
