Electro Harmonix Nano Battalion.
- Ideal for active and passive basses
- Analog circuit with MOSFET unit for great tone and versatility
- Power adapter included
EHX Nano Battalion’s fully analog circuits deliver an incredible range of bass tones in a rugged, compact package. At the heart of the pedal is a versatile MOSFET drive circuit that can produce everything from a light, subtle overdrive to fully saturated distortion.
The Nano Battalion features a three-band EQ with three selectable EQ position modes for maximum tonal flexibility and control. The three-band EQ includes treble controls (boost/cut above 1 kHz) and bass controls (boost/cut below 200 Hz), plus a mids switch that provides a 9 dB boost or cut at 500 Hz. Three signal path options determine where the EQ is applied. In Distortion mode, the EQ comes after the distorted signal and has a strong effect on your tone, while the clean signal remains unaffected. In Input mode, the EQ is first in the signal path, affecting both clean and distorted signals. Boosting frequencies in this mode can push the distortion into a more saturated state. In Dry mode, the EQ affects the clean signal but not the distorted signal.
The Nano Battalion includes a 1/4” input jack and a 1/4” output jack. When a standard TS cable is connected to the output, it delivers an unbalanced signal. When a TRS cable is connected, it outputs a balanced signal that can go directly to a mixing console or recording interface.

About Electro Harmonix.
Electro Harmonix is one of those legendary companies that has managed to remain a strong presence in the market since 1968, when guru Mike Matthews founded the brand in New York City.
Mike balanced his work between the IBM computer company and his home garage, where he built pedals for many years. His first creation was the LPB-1, a very simple booster/line driver that quickly became famous.
In the early 1980s, Electro Harmonix was forced to close due to the influx of Asian companies flooding the musical instrument market, such as Roland/Boss, Ibanez, and Tokai. Fortunately, the company made a comeback a few years ago by reissuing its classic designs during a new phase, renamed by Mike as New Sensor.
From the beginning, the factory specialized in effects pedals, attracting major music figures like Carlos Santana, Kurt Cobain (Nirvana), Jonny Greenwood (Radiohead), Jimi Hendrix, Robert Fripp (King Crimson), Billy Corgan (The Smashing Pumpkins), Jack White (The White Stripes), John Frusciante (Red Hot Chili Peppers), The Edge (U2), Cliff Burton (Metallica), David Gilmour (Pink Floyd), and Alex Turner (Arctic Monkeys).
