The SGT-DI preamp provides modern bassists with a complete all-in-one pedal. It features an enhanced Super Grit Technology 'overdrive' circuit with iconic tones from Ampeg SVT and B15, a versatile 3-band EQ now with a mid-sweep circuit, 3-way Ultra-Hi and Ultra-Lo switches, a variable compressor, and an Aux/Headphone section. It also includes an Ampeg cabinet simulator/IR loader. Choose from three classic factory cabinets or up to three custom cabinets using the free Ampeg IR Loader app.

About Ampeg Amplification
The Ampeg brand was created with the idea of meeting the amplification needs of bassists of the era to keep up with the emerging electric guitar.
As Rock'n'Roll exploded, their small tube combo amps evolved into larger units suitable for big stages and larger audiences. Interestingly, they pioneered the inclusion of reverb in guitar amplifiers, predating Fender’s famous Vibroverb.
