The L6 models incorporate many of Yamaha's most exclusive features. The solid Engelmann spruce top is treated with A.R.E. technology. This treatment, combined with a redesigned bracing pattern, results in a powerful sound with greater volume, while maintaining an optimal balance. To meet the demands of contemporary guitarists, they are equipped with a Zero Impact pickup, which, without affecting their traditional aesthetic or natural acoustic resonance, allows for amplification in live performances or studio settings.
A.R.E. (Acoustic Resonance Enhancement) is a wood treatment technology originally developed by Yamaha. Through precise control of temperature, humidity, and atmospheric pressure, the molecular properties of the wood can be manipulated to achieve ideal acoustic characteristics, similar to those of wood from instruments played for many years.
