The Ibanez AAD54E is an acoustic-electric guitar from the Advanced Acoustic series featuring a Grand Dreadnought body shape, slightly larger than a traditional dreadnought designed to deliver greater volume, depth, and presence in the bass frequencies. Its solid African mahogany top pairs with sapelli back and sides, providing a warm, balanced tone with a prominent midrange presence.

Our Opinion

The AAD54E seems like a very complete option for those seeking a warm-sounding acoustic with good projection. The solid African mahogany top provides a full-bodied character with a strong midrange presence, while the Grand Dreadnought shape helps achieve a big sound with deep bass response.
