Designed collaboratively by Seymour and Seth Lover, the inventor of the PAF. Like the original '55 PAF, the SH-55 features a nickel and silver cover, just like its base, with a plastic bobbin, flat wire, AlNiCo 2 bars, a wooden separator, and black paper tape.

And like the original, it is also unwound, giving it that classic PAF microphone-like tone. Typically used in set with the bridge and neck positions, but also recommended with the SH-11 Custom Custom in the bridge for more powerful responses.

Ideal for instruments with a particularly bright sound.
