The Classic Design CN models combine the ease of playability and the distinctive tone of nylon strings with the comfort of steel-string spacing. We have replaced the typical wide necks of classical guitars with the same easy-to-play neck profile found on all other Classic Design models. As a nod to tradition, the CN-140SCE features a solid cedar top, along with ovangkol back and sides, for a warm and mellow sound.
The CN-140SCE offers a highly comfortable experience for players of all levels: its slim concert body makes it perfect for both home practice and stage performances, while its single-cutaway design provides easy access to the upper frets. When it’s time to amplify, the built-in Fishman electronics deliver simple yet powerful tone control.
