The Ibanez AE160 is an electro-acoustic guitar from the AE series, designed to deliver the perfect balance of projection, tonal balance, and playing comfort. Its body features a solid Sitka spruce top with ovangkol back and sides, providing a well-balanced tone with full mids and bright highs. The nyatoh neck with a Comfort Grip profile and thermally aged ovangkol fingerboard ensure excellent playability. Equipped with an Ibanez T-bar undersaddle pickup and the AEQ-TP2 preamp with built-in tuner, it guarantees precise and natural amplification.

About Ibanez
Ibanez is a guitar and bass manufacturer based in Japan. The brand name comes from Spanish luthier Salvador Ibañez, whose exceptional guitars were distributed in Japan by Hoshino Gakki. The 1929 recession affected the company, leading to its closure in 1933. With the Japanese market left underserved, the importer decided in 1935 to start producing Spanish-style guitars independently, distributing them under the name "Ibanez Salvador." The name was later shortened to "Ibanez."
