This bass belongs to the X series, which means it boasts genuine Jackson pedigree and offers outstanding features such as active electronics and a neck-through-body construction. These instruments are perfect for anyone seeking a modern, comfortable instrument with a versatile and aggressive sound.
The body of this bass is made from resonant alder. A maple neck runs through the body, providing excellent playability and increased sustain. Ideal for fast playing. The fingerboard is made of laurel, with a radius that flattens out towards the body. It features 24 jumbo frets. The fingerboard is inlaid with black "shark fin" position markers. The instrument's scale length is 864 mm. The zero fret width is 44.5 mm.
The strings are anchored to a solid Jackson HiMass tuning head, which naturally enhances the attack and sustain of the bass. It is equipped with two PJ-style pickups with active electronics, two volume controls, and a three-band EQ.

About Jackson Guitars
Jackson began in the late 1970s, during a time when heavy music experienced a flamboyant and virtuosic resurgence in popularity. A small guitar repair shop in Southern California, operated by Grover Jackson, responded to the call with a new generation of high-performance custom guitars bearing Jackson’s name on the headstock. Since then, Jackson guitars have been universally acclaimed as metal guitars.
