This bass is impressive with its through-body neck design featuring a 34" scale, a five-piece mahogany and walnut neck with a satin finish on the back for smooth playability, along with mahogany wings and a Macassar ebony fingerboard with 21 extra-large stainless steel frets and ESP flag inlays. Other highlights of the Phoenix-1004 include its reverse tuning machines, vintage LTD tuners, Gotoh 201B-4 bridge, and a set of exceptional EMG 35P4 and EMG 35J pickups.
