Description

The Ibanez IC420FM-TBG is an electric guitar from the Iceman series with a striking visual design and a Transparent Blue Gradation finish that highlights the flame maple top. Its okoume body, combined with a three-piece set-in okoume neck and jatoba fingerboard, offers a comfortable, solid response with good sustain. Equipped with two passive Super 80 humbucking pickups with ceramic magnets, it delivers a clear, bright sound with punch, ideal for rock, hard rock, and styles where presence is desired without losing definition.

The Gibraltar Performer bridge, Quik Change III tailpiece, gold hardware, and included gig bag complete a striking, reliable guitar with plenty of character for live performances or studio use.

About the Iceman Series

The Ibanez Iceman is one of the most distinctive silhouettes from the brand, recognizable by its asymmetric body and bold aesthetic. Introduced in the late 1970s, it has become closely associated with rock and hard rock, featuring a design that stands out from traditional guitar shapes.

This series is designed for guitarists seeking a guitar with its own character, stage presence, and a powerful sound without sacrificing comfort.

About IBANEZ

Ibanez is a guitar and bass manufacturer based in Japan. Its name derives from the Spanish luthier Salvador Ibáñez, whose excellent guitars were distributed in Japan by Hoshino Gakki. The 1929 recession impacted the company, leading to its closure in 1933. The Japanese market was left underserved, so in 1935, the importer started manufacturing Spanish-style guitars under the name "Ibanez Salvador," which later became simply "Ibanez."

About IBANEZ

Ibanez is a manufacturer of guitars and basses based in Japan. Its name honors Spanish luthier Salvador Ibáñez, whose excellent guitars were distributed in Japan by Hoshino Gakki. The 1929 recession affected the company, leading to its closure in 1933. The Japanese market was left without supply, so in 1935, the importer decided to start manufacturing Spanish guitars independently and distributed them under the name "Ibanez Salvador." Later, the brand was renamed simply "Ibanez."
