Description

The new SA-126 features a chambered mahogany body with a built-in Centerblock of American basswood for enhanced stability and tone. It is topped with a solid finish maple top and quilted maple in transparent finishes, with five layers of body binding. The neck is a 22-fret, 12"-16" compound radius ebony fingerboard with jumbo frets and triple block inlays, mounted on a graphite-reinforced mahogany neck. With a scale length of 24.75"... this feels like a modern-classic that is familiar and comfortable. Finally, there's an adjustment wheel for the truss rod at the end of the neck for easy on-the-fly adjustments.

About the SA Series.

The SA series is characterized by being a hybrid between a semi-hollow and a solid-body guitar: a solid body with chambering and a central block combined with a bolt-on neck and features commonly associated with high-performance guitar brands, such as a slim neck, jumbo frets, and high-output pickups.

Alongside Peavey, Eddie collaborated on creating his signature guitar, the EVH Wolfgang, named after his son. Shortly after, in 2009, he launched his own signature line, which continues to be endorsed by Fender today.
