The Martin Backpacker guitars are specially designed to accompany us on our travels. These guitars have been played in remote locations such as mountains and even in space! In 1994, astronaut Pierre Thuot took his Backpacker on a mission orbiting the planet 224 times, making it the first guitar played in space.
