The Dumble Overdrive Special is probably the most sought-after amplifier in the world. It's no surprise that manufacturers are willing to distill some of that magic into a pedal, and that's where the J. Rockett The Dude V2 comes in.
The Dude V2 has been designed based on an original ODS. The pedal's Level control boosts the output, providing a clean boost starting at 10 o'clock, and if you want dirtier sounds, the Ratio knob begins blending some gain with the clean boost until the sound is fully saturated. The treble control ensures the clarity of the strings remains, and a depth control operates around the lower mid frequencies.
