Strymon Sunset Dual Overdrive

Six different circuits, each feeling and reacting uniquely in your hands, all within a single pedal. Push your amplifier in any direction you desire, from transparent overdrive to heavy saturation, including the best mid-range tones. It is divided into three circuits per channel.

Channel A

GE (germanium): Combines the smooth response of germanium diodes with a parallel route that blends the dry signal as the unit is lowered. With higher gain settings, the low-mid frequencies are emphasized to create a tight, thick response.

Texas: The Texas overdrive delivers a smooth, dynamic saturation. It retains the original signal's dynamics as gain increases, making it perfect for blues or simply fattening your sound with a characteristic touch. 

Treble (booster): Cuts bass frequencies as you turn up the tone control, ideal for adjusting a warm amplifier or saturating another gain pedal. Turning the tone knob down yields the low end, making it a versatile booster.

Channel B

2stage: Combines saturation from two stages, creating a saturation with a wide gain range. Maintains the low end while pushing your amp. This overdrive ranges from very mild to almost distortion.

Hard: Saturating a single stage, this circuit can resemble a fuzz when you crank the drive. At low gain settings, it can be very transparent. A versatile overdrive that allows for good treble EQ with the tone pot.

JFET: A clean booster that simply fattens your signal with the dynamics of FET transistors. The signal becomes rounder as you increase the drive.
