About S-TECH
The special toasted S-TECH treatment increases stability, durability, water resistance, and wood tolerance to temperature changes. The neck is sealed with an oil finish that helps it feel similar to a well-played guitar neck.
This treatment provides superior attack and a well-balanced tone with rich sustain. To achieve maximum comfort in neck grip, the edges of the fingerboard are rounded.
About Ibanez
Ibanez is a guitar and bass manufacturer based in Japan. Its name derives from the Spanish luthier Salvador Ibañez, whose excellent guitars were distributed in Japan by Hoshino Gakki. The 1929 recession affected the company, which closed in 1933. The Japanese market was left underserved, so in 1935 the importer decided to start manufacturing Spanish-style guitars on its own and distributed them under the name "Ibanez Salvador." Later, the name was changed to "Ibanez".
