About Ibanez Signature
The Signature series features various Ibanez models, adapted to the specific artist's needs with extensive modifications. The basic idea behind Signature guitars is that the artist can replace "their" guitar anywhere in the world, allowing the guitarist to play the same model as their idol. Many features of Signature guitars have now made their way into mass production.
About Ibanez
Ibanez is a guitar and bass manufacturer based in Japan. Its name derives from the Spanish luthier Salvador Ibañez, whose excellent guitars were distributed in Japan by Hoshino Gakki. The 1929 recession affected the company, which closed in 1933. The Japanese market was left without supply, so in 1935, the importer decided to start manufacturing Spanish guitars on their own and distributed them under the name "Ibanez Salvador." Later, the name was shortened to "Ibanez".
