About Ibanez Signature
In the Signature series, you'll find various Ibanez models that have been adapted to meet the specific needs of the respective artist, with more or less extensive modifications. The main idea behind Signature guitars is that the artist can replace "their" guitar anywhere in the world and play the same model as their idol. Many features of Signature guitars have now found their way into mass production.
About Ibanez
Ibanez is a guitar and bass manufacturer based in Japan. Its name is derived from the Spanish luthier Salvador Ibáñez, whose excellent guitars were distributed in Japan by Hoshino Gakki. The 1929 recession affected the company, which closed in 1933. The Japanese market was left underserved, so in 1935 the importer decided to start manufacturing Spanish guitars on its own, distributing them under the name "Ibanez Salvador." Later, the name was changed to "Ibanez".
