The Prestige fretwork treatment is a distinctive feature of this range. This technique involves meticulously working the fret to ensure it is as rounded as possible, resulting in an ultra-smooth and fast feel on the neck.
About S-Tech
The special S-TECH roasted treatment enhances the wood's stability, durability, water resistance, and tolerance to temperature changes. The neck is sealed with an oil finish that helps it feel similar to a well-played guitar neck.
This treatment provides superior attack and a well-balanced tone with rich sustain. To maximize the comfort of the neck grip, the edges of the fingerboard are rounded.
About Ibanez
Ibanez is a guitar and bass manufacturer based in Japan. Its name derives from the Spanish luthier Salvador Ibáñez, whose excellent guitars were distributed in Japan by Hoshino Gakki. The 1929 recession affected the company, leading to its closure in 1933. The Japanese market was left underserved, so the importer decided in 1935 to start manufacturing Spanish guitars independently, distributing them under the name "Ibanez Salvador." Later, the name was shortened to "Ibanez".
