About S-TECH
Special S-TECH roasting treatment increases stability, durability, water resistance, and the wood's tolerance to temperature changes. The neck is sealed with an oil finish that helps it feel similar to a well-played guitar neck.
This treatment provides superior attack and a well-balanced tone with rich sustain. To maximize comfort, the edges of the fingerboard are rounded.
About Ibanez
Ibanez is a guitar and bass manufacturer based in Japan. The name derives from Spanish luthier Salvador Ibáñez, whose excellent guitars were distributed in Japan by Hoshino Gakki. The 1929 recession impacted the company, leading to its closure in 1933. The Japanese market was left underserved, prompting the importer to start manufacturing Spanish guitars on their own in 1935, distributing them under the name "Ibanez Salvador." The name was later shortened to "Ibanez."
