Although ESP started in 1975 as a small repair shop in Tokyo, it wasn't until the mid-80s that our guitars and basses caught the attention of musicians worldwide. The LTD '87 series are faithful recreations of this set of instruments from the ESP catalog of 1987.
Based on the original ESP Mirage body shape, the LTD Mirage Deluxe '87 is a shred-ready bolt-on with a swamp ash body and an extra-thin three-piece maple U-shaped neck. These guitars feature a Floyd Rose 1000 bridge and a pickup configuration that includes a Seymour Duncan TB-6 Distortion (with vintage-style coils and a push-pull coil-split control) at the bridge and a Hot Rail single coil at the neck position.
