The Ibanez RG653DXWHF is a Prestige series guitar crafted with Japanese precision, designed for players who value ergonomics, stability, and responsiveness. The ash body is paired with a five-piece Super Wizard HP neck (maple/walnut), delivering an extremely slim and consistent profile, ideal for speed and technical fluidity. The rosewood fretboard with 24 jumbo Prestige frets enhances comfort and accuracy during fast playing.
It features two DiMarzio humbuckers (Air Norton at the neck and Tone Zone at the bridge) that provide balanced output with character; the 5-way pickup selector allows exploring combinations that expand the tonal palette beyond simple humbuckers. The Double Locking Tremolo (Edge) bridge system and high-quality tuning machines ensure stable tuning even with heavy use of the whammy bar. Overall, it’s a solid platform for advanced techniques, tapping, sweep picking, and demanding performances.
