The Player II Modified Telecaster is a classic guitar designed for the modern player. Everything about the neck is crafted for fast, smooth playing, from the modern "C" profile with a silky satin urethane finish on the back to the comfortable one-piece maple or rosewood fingerboard with a 9.5" radius, rolled edges, and 22 medium jumbo frets.
The alder body delivers the classic Fender snap and is available in a variety of new and exciting finishes. The Player II noiseless pickups provide that classic Tele twang and bite while eliminating unwanted noise. The tone control’s push/pull switch adds even more tonal flexibility by switching the pickups’ wiring from parallel to series for thicker, more powerful tones. The 6-saddle bridge, short-post locking tuners, TUSQ nut, and modern string guide work together to maintain incredibly stable tuning, even during the most demanding bends or rock solos.
