The Player II Modified Telecaster is a classic guitar designed for the modern player. Every aspect of the neck is crafted for fast, smooth playing, from the modern "C" profile with a silky satin urethane finish on the back to the comfortable one-piece maple or rosewood fingerboard with a 9.5" radius, rounded edges, and 22 medium jumbo frets.
The alder body delivers the classic Fender punch and is available in a variety of exciting new finishes. The Player II Modified humbucker is articulate and offers high output, while the Player II noiseless pickups provide the classic Tele twang and bite without unwanted noise. The push/pull tone control adds even more tonal flexibility by switching the pickups wiring from parallel to series for thicker tones. The 6-saddle bridge, short-post locking tuners, TUSQ nut, and modern string guide combine to maintain incredibly stable tuning, even during aggressive bends or powerful rock solos.
